BUILDING FOUNDATIONS
Building blocks set the scene
Concrete blocks are a crucial element in building foundations, retaining walls, garden walls, planters, steps, and firepits due to their strength and durability.
Concrete blocks are primarily classified into two main types: hollow and solid blocks. Hollow blocks, also known as breeze or cinder blocks, are lightweight and feature hollow sections that occupy more than one-quarter of their cross-sectional area, often more than half, which allows for the integration of electrical wiring, plumbing, and reinforcement bars.
